"Gerard presented an insightful presentation on the AITSL Capability Framework. Gerard worked with 140 staff in an interactive presentation which saw primary and secondary teaching staff acquainting themselves with the intercultural continuum while looking for evidence of where their teaching practice falls within the AITSL descriptors. This one session created a more informed teaching work force at our school. It also provided opportunities for our staff to investigate how our Reconciliation Action Plan might create further opportunities to grow our teaching and learning programs with regard to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and perspectives."
